    A Street Glide rider on the Harley Davidson Forums recently mentioned that at highway speeds, the wind gets so strong it blows his sunglasses right off. Chances are, many of you have experienced the same thing.

    Let’s break down why this happens. The key lies in how Skyline OS handles connected devices. To enable Apple CarPlay, the system requires a Bluetooth headset (a helmet headset, a Bluetooth adapter, or a Cardo etc.) to be connected as a “microphone”. This is a hard requirement from Apple’s CarPlay architecture. As a result, navigation voice is routed to that headset – not to the bike’s built‑in speakers.

    Yes, there is a proven workaround. You can wire a standalone Bluetooth adapter to the bike (using a wired connection), then pair your iPhone with that adapter’s signal.
